The hollow shaft uses steel casting, the lining can be replaced, rotary gearwheel made with casting gear hobbing for process, the cylinder body beset with wear-resisting backing board, has good wear resistance. The operation of this ball mill is very stable and reliable.

The discharging port's pulp surface is low, the pulp can pass quickly to reduce ore excessive wear; put more balls, big balls and small balls can be loaded, and small balls can't be discharged, but also form a good working conditions; under the same condition, production capacity is higher, power consumption is low, its disadvantage is complex structure. But overflow-type ball mill has simple structure; management and maintenance are more convenient, so the operating rate is relatively high. Generally, fine grinding fineness is suitable for overflow type, thick grinding fineness is suitable for grid type (to avoid excessive wear to have negative effects).
