Feldspars are aluminosilicate minerals containing potassium, sodium, and calcium in solid solution series. As the most abundant mineral group comprising approximately 60% of Earth's crust, feldspar occurs primarily in pegmatites with commercial varieties including alkali feldspars and plagioclase group minerals.
