Electrolytic Tin Plate (ETP), also known as SPTE, refers to cold rolled low carbon thin steel plate or steel strip coated with commercial pure tin on both sides. This material offers excellent sealing properties, preservation capabilities, light protection, structural firmness, and distinctive metal decorative appeal.
Packaging Applications
Tinplate (ETP) Applications
Primarily used for packaging foodstuffs and beverages, ETP is also suitable for containers storing oils, grease, paints, polishes, chemicals, and various other products. Additionally, it serves as material for aerosol containers, caps, and closures.
TFS Applications
Tin Free Steel (TFS) is most frequently utilized for can tops, screw and lug caps, snap and press-on closures, and shallow-drawn food cans.
