Description:
SOC can be used at the end of the drop cable in ODP (Optical Distribution Point) or OTP (Optical Termination Point), as well as at the end of the indoor optical cable in OTP or rossette.
Dimensions drop / indoor cable used is (2 to 2.5) x (3 to 3.5)mm. SOC points of use described in section 1.5 the general configuration.
Product Material On Splice Connector must be made of the raw materials as follows:
a. Ferrule must use zirconia ceramic material
b. Boot is made of thermoplastic material that is capable of protecting the results of splicing.
c. Connector housings made of thermoplastic that is hard.
