The STE18-S is an STS Standard compliant split keypad single phase prepaid electricity meter with Customer Interface Unit (CIU). This advanced meter features automatic connection/disconnection functionality and an integrated keypad for entering recharge tokens and accessing information via short codes.
Payment & Recharge Options
Stronpay electricity vending software integrates with local mobile payment platforms including M-PESA, Alipay, MTN, and Airtel, enabling users to top up PAYG electricity remotely. The system supports both prepaid and post-paid payment modes, with easy switching between modes using short codes.
Customer Interface Unit (CIU)
The CIU is installed inside customer premises when meters are located in locked boxes or inaccessible areas, allowing convenient token entry and information queries without physical meter access.
