Instructions for Use
Setup Procedure
- Inspect product before use. Do not use if package is not intact
2. Open sealed package and remove product
3. Connect Endotracheal Tube/Tracheostomy Tube to Revolvable adapter
4. Connect ventilator tube to Revolvable Ventilator Connector
5. Attach date label to color ring
6. Before suctioning, ensure MDI Port and Irrigation Port caps are closed
7. Before suctioning: Ensure on-off valve is in open position by sliding to allow catheter entry
Suctioning Procedure
Caution: Always use recommended vacuum levels and consider length of suctioning time
- Grip three-way adaptor with one hand and feed suction catheter into tube to required depth
2. Depth markers are visible through protective cover for guidance
3. Once catheter is at desired position/depth, depress vacuum control valve to apply suction
4. Remove suction catheter until protective sleeve is straight
5. Repeat steps 1-3 as necessary
