System Overview
This advanced 500 liters per hour reverse osmosis system with EDI technology is specifically engineered for hemodialysis water treatment applications. The system utilizes membrane separation technology that applies pressure to drive water through semi-permeable membranes, effectively removing impurities while producing high-purity water essential for medical dialysis procedures.
Working Principle
When system pressure exceeds the osmotic pressure of the aqueous solution, water molecules continuously permeate through the membrane. Purified water flows through the central tube via product water channels, while contaminants including ions, organic compounds, bacteria, and viruses are retained on the membrane's inlet side and discharged through the concentrated water outlet.
Processing Stages
- Raw Water Pump: Provides initial pressure to quartz sand and activated carbon filters
- Multi-Media Filter: Removes turbidity, suspended solids, organic matter, and colloids
- Activated Carbon Filter: Eliminates color, free chlorine, organic compounds, and harmful substances
- Water Softener: Exchanges calcium and magnesium ions using ion exchange technology
- Micron Filter: Prevents large particles, bacteria, and viruses from reaching RO membrane (5μm accuracy)
- High Pressure Pump: Generates required pressure for RO membrane operation
