Our biodegradable masterbatch is manufactured using environmentally friendly materials compounded with polyolefin resin carriers. This innovative additive enables the production of fully biodegradable plastic products through standard manufacturing processes.
Biodegradation Mechanism
The starch component degrades naturally when exposed to molds or bacteria, gradually weakening the polymer structure. Through the interaction of photo-sensitizers and peroxides produced during natural oxidation, the plastic molecular chain breaks down, reducing molecular weight until it transforms into environmentally harmless substances.
