By cascading effects under vacuum conditions, secondary vapor from one effect efficiently heats the next, significantly reducing fresh-steam requirements and total operating expenses.

3-5 effects efficiently reuse latent heat across multiple stages, reducing typical steam consumption to approximately 30-40% of single-effect units. Optional Thermal Vapor Recompression (TVR) and Mechanical Vapor Recompression (MVR) modules provide additional energy savings.
Gentle Processing & Reliable Operation
Vacuum operation and short residence times protect heat-sensitive materials. Mirror-polished tubes minimize scaling and simplify clean-in-place (CIP) procedures.
Advanced Automation & Process Consistency
PLC/HMI control with recipe management, data historian, and safety interlocks (vacuum/level/temperature). Optional inline density and conductivity monitoring ensures precise endpoint control.
Energy-Saving Cascade Process Operation
- Feed & Preheat: Metered feed enters the preheater and first-effect heater
- Effect 1: Live steam heats the first effect; generated vapor becomes heating medium for Effect 2
- Effects 2-N: Each subsequent effect operates at lower pressure/temperature, utilizing previous effect's vapor for boiling
- Condensation & Recovery: Final vapors condense in the condenser; clean condensate can be reused
- Crystallization (Optional): Concentrated liquor flashes or routes to vacuum crystallizer for salt recovery
