Pillow plates, also known as thermo plates, consist of two stainless steel sheets laser welded together using a custom circular weld pattern. The plates are then inflated with water pressure to create specific single or double embossed profiles, forming the pillow plate structure through which heating or cooling is conducted.

Widely used in heating, cooling, evaporation, and condensation applications including heat exchangers, storage tanks for milk, beer, and wine, fermentation systems, falling film chillers, jacket vessels, evaporator plates, building roofs, and ice rooms.
