- Avoid drying or freezing - may cause bead aggregation and loss of binding activity
- Protein content determination: Use indirect methods (Pierce 660nm Protein Assay) or direct methods (Micro BCA Protein Assay). Avoid 280nm wavelength detection due to NHS group interference.
