These 2 μm nanoparticles enable direct covalent coupling with proteins and other molecules containing primary amine groups for affinity purification and assay detection applications.

Important Precautions
- Magnetic beads are sensitive to moisture - Immediately reseal containers after sampling and store at 4°C
- Avoid drying or freezing - These conditions may cause bead aggregation and loss of binding activity
- Protein content determination - Use indirect methods (e.g., Thermo Scientific™ Pierce™ 660 nm Protein Assay) or direct methods (e.g., Micro BCA Protein Assay)
- Avoid 280 nm wavelength detection - NHS groups strongly absorb near 280nm and interfere with measurements
