(1) Climate conditions:
Detailed understanding of the local meteorological department's average temperature, absolute maximum temperature and absolute minimum temperature, soil freezing depth, average rainfall, maximum wind speed, perennial main wind direction, and monthly sunshine hours in the past 5-10 years.
(2) Location:
The site should be located in an area with convenient transportation and flat roads, with a quiet environment around the chicken farm, away from residential areas and noisy factories, and away from slaughterhouses and hospitals. More than 500 meters away from the main road and animal breeding areas, more than 200 meters away from animal clinics, and more than 100 meters away from secondary roads.
(3) Terrain and topography:
Require a high and dry terrain, facing south or southeast, with a certain slope to facilitate lighting, ventilation, and drainage. If building a site on a hillside or hilly area, it can be built on a sunny slope, but the slope should not be too steep. Chicken farms should not be built in low-lying and humid areas, nor should they be built on mountain tops and high slopes. Strive for a square area to minimize the use of lines and pipelines, and minimize or minimize the occupation of arable land.
(4) Soil:
The soil should be sandy loam with good drainage and poor thermal conductivity, and the groundwater level in the external site should be low.
(5) Water source:
The water source in the site is sufficient, and the water quality should meet the hygiene standards for drinking water. It is best to drill deep wells to obtain water. Untreated river and pond water cannot be used for direct drinking by chickens.
(6) Power supply:
The power supply must be stable, reliable, and sufficient. It is best to use dual power supply, otherwise you need to provide your own power generation equipment.
