Operational Mechanism
The push back rack system consists of inclined tracks with nested trolleys operating on these tracks. For instance, a 4-deep lane configuration includes 3 nested trolleys. The initial pallet is positioned on the top trolley using a forklift.
When loading subsequent pallets, each new pallet pushes the preceding ones backward, with the second pallet resting on the middle trolley and the third on the bottom trolley. The final pallet is loaded directly onto the rail system.
Unloading follows the reverse sequence. The angled rails naturally guide pallets toward the aisle as each is removed, allowing sequential access to all stored pallets until the lane is empty.
