Basic Info.
HDPE is a highly crystalline, non-polar thermoplastic resin. The appearance of the original HDPE is milky white, and the thin section is translucent to a certain extent. PE has excellent resistance to most domestic and industrial chemicals. Certain types of chemicals can cause chemical corrosion, such as corrosive oxidizers (concentrated nitric acid), aromatic hydrocarbons (xylene) and halogenated hydrocarbons (carbon tetrachloride). The polymer is non-hygroscopic and has good water vapor resistance, and can be used for packaging purposes.

Advantage
High-density polyethylene is non-toxic, tasteless, and odorless white particles with a melting point of about 130°C and a relative density of 0.941 to 0.960. HDPE has good electrical properties, especially high dielectric strength, medium to high molecular weight,and excellent impact resistance, both at room temperature and even at low temperatures.

Application
1.When the water supply pipe is laid outdoors in the open air, shielding measures should be taken in the place exposed to sunlight.
2.When installing high-density polyethylene pipes, if the available operating space is too small, electrofusion connection should be selected for work.
3.When using hot-melt socket connection, the heating temperature should not be too high, and the heating time should not be too long. The temperature should be controlled at about 210±10 °C to avoid excessive extrusion of molten slurry in the fittings, thus reducing the inner diameter of the water. At the same time, when the socket is inserted, the pipe fittings and the pipe interface should be kept clean to avoid the situation that the socket is disconnected and leaked.
