This DC24V ultrasonic level meter provides precise liquid level measurement with 4-20mA output signal. Designed for industrial applications requiring corrosion resistance and explosion-proof capabilities.
Operating Principle
The ultrasonic level meter uses microprocessor-controlled digital technology. Ultrasonic pulses are transmitted from the sensor and reflected by the liquid surface, then converted into electrical signals. The time difference between transmission and reception calculates the distance to the liquid surface.

Installation & Dimensions
Bracket installation for open environments. Cut 60mm diameter hole in tank, insert probe, and secure with flange. Ensure probe surface is level with measured liquid.
Installation Guidelines
- Measurement datum is sensor lower edge
- Upper limit cannot enter blind area (0.35-0.6m)
- Avoid feed openings when measuring material levels
- Protect from long-term rain in outdoor installations
- Maintain 0.3-2m distance from walls
Application Areas
Water and wastewater treatment (pump houses, collection wells, bioreactors, sedimentation tanks), power plants, mining operations (ash ponds, coal slurry ponds, water treatment systems).
