Dual Lighting Model AFS1804
The AFS1804 110V/220V Low Intensity Dual LED Obstruction Light is engineered for reliable performance in airway fixed obstacle marking applications. Featuring waterproof, vibration-proof, and corrosion-resistant casing, it complies with ICAO regulations for low intensity Type A/Type B applications with steady burning operation.
Dual Light Operation Modes
Integrated by 2 single lights to ensure continuous operation at the top of towers. Two working patterns available:
- Service+Standby: Only service light operates normally, automatically transferring to standby light in case of service light failure
- Service+Service: Both single lights work simultaneously - failure of one light does not affect the other
Installation Guidelines
Proper installation of aviation obstruction lights on chimneys requires specific positioning based on chimney height and structural considerations.
Height-Based Installation Requirements
- H ≤ 45m: Single layer of medium-intensity aviation obstruction lights at top with 7 color codes
- 45m Multi-layer system with medium-intensity Type B lights at top and additional layers with spacing ≤ 45 meters
- 105m Multi-layer system with medium-intensity Type A lights at top and additional layers with spacing ≤ 45 meters
- H ≥ 150m: High-intensity aviation obstruction lights at top with spacing between 75-105 meters, plus medium-intensity lights between high-intensity lights
Top obstruction lights must be positioned between 1.5-3 meters from chimney top. For chimneys exceeding 150 meters height, lights can be installed within 7.5 meters below the top.
