When the guide bit reaches to the rock stratum, the stabilizer rod and guide bit begin to fold, the reamer bits expand along the sliding chute and start to drill; when finished, the stabilizer rod is lifted, the guide bit is automatically separated by gravity and the reamer bits are automatically gathered, thus lifted from the bottom of the hole. This drilling system is mainly applied for 108-323mm.
