Application
High pure grade R290 is used as temperature sensing medium; Premium grade and first grade R290 can be used as refrigerant and can replace R22.
R290 is mainly used to replace R22 and R502 refrigerants in cryogenic refrigeration equipment; since R290 is flammable, it is usually only used in cryogenic refrigeration equipment with less liquid charge, or as a component of low temperature mixed refrigerant; R290 Compatible with traditional lubricants.

Introductions
R290, is refrigerant grade propane, a natural, or “not in kind”, refrigerant suitable for use in a range of refrigeration and air conditioning applications. The use of R290 is increasing due to its low environmental impact and excellent thermodynamic performance. It is non-toxic with zero ODP (Ozone Depletion Potential) and very low GWP (Global Warming Potential). It is a flammable refrigerant and therefore not suitable for retrofitting existing fluorocarbon refrigerant systems.
Handling & Storage
refrigerant cylinder is a pressurized container, which should be stored away from fire, heat source, avoid direct sunshine, and usually stored in a cool, dry and ventilated warehouse. When handling, it should be lightly loaded and unloaded to prevent damage to cylinders and valve accessories.
