Top-Trans QSFP+-40G-LR4 is a compatible optical transceiver module equivalent to Extreme 40GB-LR4-QSFP, designed for 40GBASE-LR4 WAN infrastructure interconnects in datacenters, enterprise networks, campus environments, HPC centers, and cloud facilities.

This QSFP+ optical module provides excellent interoperability with Extreme network devices including SLX Series Routers, 8000 Series, and X8 Series edge/core switches for L3 service distribution and aggregation applications.

The transceiver utilizes a Quad Small Form-factor Pluggable (QSFP) design that multiplexes/demultiplexes 4x10G CWDM optical signals into an aggregated 40Gbps 1310NM signal over dual LC single-mode fiber. Built with four independent CWDM DFB lasers and PIN receivers, it supports transmission distances up to 10KM over OS2 single-mode fiber.
