410 SS Plate Description
410 stainless steel is a corrosion-resistant and heat-resistant hardenable martensitic stainless steel, and is the most widely used hardenable stainless steel, with good corrosion resistance plus high strength and hardness.
410 stainless steel contains at least 11.5% chromium, the addition of chromium offers improved corrosion resistance in mildly corrosive environments that require high strength and moderate heat resistance. In addition, 410 stainless steel also has sufficient resistance to sulfuric acid, nitric acid and weak acetic acid.
