The DS3231M is a low-cost, extremely accurate I2C real-time clock (RTC) that incorporates a battery input for continuous timekeeping when main power is interrupted. The integration of microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) resonator enhances long-term accuracy and reduces component count in manufacturing applications. This device is available in the same footprint as the popular DS3231 RTC.
