The knife-ring flaker machine is one of the main machines in the preparation section of particle board production.

After the chipper cuts wood chips, bamboo chips, broken veneer, etc. into certain specifications of flakes, the knife-ring flaker makes them into flakes with certain thickness that meet the process requirements, which are used as raw materials for particle board. The flaker has formed a series of products with various specifications of knife ring diameters from 800 to 1600, which can meet the needs of particleboard production lines with an annual output of 30,000-450,000 m³.

Structure of knife-ring flaker

1 Multi-stage structure for heavy object separator which will seperate wood chips with lenth of 60~120mm.

2 The adjustment device for wind to make the suspension wind speed the same.

3 Distribute wood chips uniform across the width of the knife ring.

4 Effectively control the protruding amount of the flying knife and the gap between the knife door to ensure uniform thickness of flakes.

5 New type of impeller to lower the enger consumption.
