Product Description
TINOX TPW-716 Hybrid Pigment White
Premium Performance Hybrid Pigment for Superior Coatings
TINOX TPW-716 is an advanced hybrid pigment based on rutile-type TiO₂, engineered specifically for high-performance paint and coating applications. Through a proprietary manufacturing process that combines premium TiO₂ pigment components with ultra-fine functional fillers, TPW-716 enhances light scattering efficiency while reducing TiO₂ consumption without compromising optical performance.
Exceptional Performance Advantages
  • Superior Optical Properties Brightness L* ≥ 96.0 with bluish undertone for exceptional whiteness and visual appeal
  • Excellent Gloss Development Enhanced surface reflectivity and gloss stability for premium finishes
  • Strong Hiding Power Outstanding coverage with reduced pigment loading requirements
  • Enhanced Durability Improved abrasion resistance, weather resistance, and coating film hardness
  • Excellent Dispersion Hegman ≥ 6.5 for easy incorporation and reduced processing time
  • Environmental Benefits Lower CO₂ emissions per unit compared to pure TiO₂

Processing Instructions:
  1. Add water, dispersing agent, and wetting agent to mixing vessel
  2. Slowly add TINOX TPW-716 under moderate agitation (800-1000 rpm)
  3. Increase agitation speed to 1500-2000 rpm for 15-20 minutes until Hegman fineness ≥6.5 is achieved
  4. Reduce speed and slowly add acrylic emulsion
  5. Add coalescing agent, defoamer, rheology modifier, and preservative
  6. Adjust pH to 7.5-8.5 with ammonia solution
  7. Add remaining water to achieve desired viscosity
  8. Filter and package
