The function of Static Screen is used for pre-treatment in wastewater treatment plants. It is mainly used for both municipal and industrial wastewater treatment, particularly for screening fibrous and non-greasy solids. Static screen can be also used in solid-liquid separation.

Hydraulic screen is also called inclined screen, curved screen, slotted screen, hydraulic grid. It is a small unpowered separation equipment used to filter suspended matter, floating matter, sediment and other solid or colloidal substances in sewage treatment or industrial wastewater treatment. Hydraulic screen can effectively reduce suspended matter (SS) in water and reduce the processing load of subsequent processes.
