Biomass fuel uses agricultural solid waste such as corn stalks, wheat straw, rice straw, peanut husks, corn cobs, cotton stalks, soybean stalks, chaff, weeds, branches, leaves, sawdust, bark and other solid waste as raw materials. Pressurized, densified, and shaped into small rod-shaped solid particle fuel. Pellet fuel is made by extruding wood chips, orange straw and other raw materials using a press and a ring die under normal temperature conditions. The density of the raw materials is generally about 110 -130kg/m3, and the density of the formed particles is greater than 1100kg/m3. It is extremely convenient to transport and store. At the same time, its combustion performance is greatly improved.

The distinguishing features of wood pellet fuel are its condensed and sturdier shape, which makes it highly resistant to combustion and remarkably easy to stockpile and transport. Moreover, pellet fuel accounts for only 1/30-40 of the raw material's volume, with a specific gravity that is 10-15 times higher (density: 0.8-1.4). This solid fuel boasts a calorific value of 3400 ~ 6000 kcal and is abundant in volatile phenol.
