T304 304 Cold Drawn Stainless Steel Flat Bar
304 Stainless Steel Flat, is the most economical stainless flat shape that's ideal for all applications where strength and superior corrosion resistance is required. 304 Stainless Flat has a durable dull, grainy mill finish and is widely used for all types of fabrication projects that are exposed to the elements. Stainless Flats 1/2" thickness and under are sheared and edged, thicker sizes are a true bar. True bar is available on request for thinner sizes. Notice: 1/16" strip flats are sheared from sheet and may have some curvature or twist. Industrial grade stainless - NOT POLISHED.
- Specifications: ASTM A276, QQS-763, T304/304L, non-polished mill finish, 1/8" to 1/2" thick is sheared & edged, sides may have taper; over 1/2" thick is True Bar (squared edge).
- AKA: stainless strip, stainless bar, stainless rectangle
- Applications: frame work, braces, supports, plates, marine, food, etc.
- Workability: Easy to Weld, Moderate Cutting, Forming and Machining.
