Constructed from 100% polyvinylidene difluoride, these hydrophobic PVDF membrane rolls deliver exceptional temperature resistance and broad chemical compatibility, enabling high flow rates across diverse gas sterilization applications. With minimal protein binding characteristics, they are ideally suited for filtering small protein solution volumes in HPLC analysis. The hydrophobic nature eliminates the need for wetting agents, enhancing sample purity during sterilization and clarification processes.
Offering performance characteristics similar to PTFE membranes, PVDF membranes provide a more cost-effective alternative for applications where PTFE is prohibitively expensive.
