Product Description:

The swing check valve is designed to open with forward flow and close automatically when flow reverses. The disc of this check valve swings freely on the hinge pin, and is forced shut by the reverse flow of the medium, which generates a back pressure. When pressure builds up on the downstream side, the disc is pushed open by the upstream pressure.
