Usage: Vacuum Blood Collection Tube is used together with blood collection needle and holder for Blood Sample Collection from Vein for clinic testing.

Serum Tubes are coated with clot activator on the inner wall of the tubes. They are used for serum determinations in chemistry. Samples processed in these tubes may be used for routine blood donor screening, and diagnostic testing of serum for infectious disease.

Selection and injection sequence of vacuum blood collection vessels
Select the corresponding test tube based on the tested item. The sequence of blood injection is culture bottle, ordinary test tube, test tube containing solid anticoagulant, and test tube containing liquid anticoagulant. The purpose of following this order is to minimize the analytical errors caused by specimen collection.

Blood distribution order: Use glass test tubes in order: blood culture test tubes, non anticoagulant serum tubes, sodium citrate anticoagulant test tubes, and other anticoagulant test tubes.

The sequence of using plastic test tubes: blood culture tube (yellow), sodium citrate anticoagulation tube (blue), serum tube separated with or without blood coagulation activator or gel, heparin tube with or without gel (green), EDTA anticoagulation tube (purple), and tube with blood glucose decomposition inhibitor (gray).
