Hydraulic oils
For detailed information on the selection of hydraulic oils and application conditions, please refer to our technical data sheets RE 90220 (mineral oils), RE 90221 (eco-compliant oils) and RE 90223 (HF oils).

The A7VO variable displacement pump is not suitable for operation with HFA. When using HFD or eco-compliant oils, the technical data and seal restrictions in accordance with RE 90223 and RE 90221 must be observed.
For sizes 250 and 355 for operation with HFC oils, the A4VSO..F must be used. For certain HFC oils, the same pressures and speeds as for mineral oils can be used. See RE 92053.
When ordering, specify the oil to be used in clear text.

Notes on selection of hydraulic fluid
The hydraulic fluid should be selected such that the operating
viscosity in the operating temperature range is within
the optimum range (νopt see selection diagram).

Notice
At no point of the component may the temperature be
higher than 115 °C. The temperature difference specified in
the table is to be taken into account when determining the
viscosity in the bearing.
If the above conditions cannot be maintained due to
extreme operating parameters, we recommend the use of a
flushing and boost-pressure valve (see page 73).
