**6F35 Center Support & Reverse Clutch Assembly 

1. **Function** – The **reverse clutch** engages **reverse gear** by locking the planetary carrier, while the **center support** stabilizes internal shafts.  

2. **Key Components** – Multi-plate clutch pack, piston, and sealing rings (prone to wear under high torque).  

3. **Common Failures** –  
   - **Fluid leaks** (causing delayed/harsh reverse engagement).  
   - **Burnt clutch plates** (due to overheating or low fluid).  
   - **Center support bearing wear** (leads to gear whine or misalignment).  

4. **Critical Maintenance** – Use **Mercon LV** fluid and monitor for **DTCs (P07A6/P07A7)** indicating clutch pressure issues.
