Product Overview
Low Melting Polyester Staple Fiber (LMF) is a specialized synthetic fiber manufactured using polyester and modified polyester through simultaneous spinning. This innovative material features a lower melting point ranging from 90°C to 220°C, with 110°C being the most common specification in industrial applications.
Core Technology
When heated to 110-150°C, the sheath layer melts to create either a sheath-core or side-by-side structure, providing excellent bonding properties. Also known as 4080 or hot-melt cotton in the non-woven fabric industry, LMF is produced using low-melting polyester combined with conventional polyester.
