Product Description
Corrosion-Resistant Impervious Geotextile
Engineered for superior seepage control in demanding landfill and mining applications, featuring exceptional durability and long service life.
Product Overview
Impervious geotextile is a composite material consisting of a plastic film anti-seepage base layer bonded with non-woven fabric. The primary anti-seepage performance is derived from the plastic membrane, typically manufactured from polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or polyethylene (PE). These polymer materials offer excellent flexibility, low specific gravity, high elongation capacity, corrosion resistance, low-temperature performance, and frost resistance.
Key Features
- Superior anti-seepage and waterproof performance
- Excellent elasticity and deformation adaptability
- Outstanding aging resistance and corrosion resistance
- High-temperature tolerance with extended service life
Applications
- Earth-rock dams, rockfill dams, masonry dams, roller compacted concrete dams
- Channels, liquid storage pools, mining pits
- Waterproof layer for expansive soil and collapsible loess
- Cofferdam construction projects
- Seepage control for subways, basements, and tunnels
- Saline control of roadbeds and foundations
- Tailings dams, water reservoirs, waste treatment facilities
- Moisture protection for roofing and basements
- Horizontal impervious blankets and vertical seepage layers
Construction Guidelines
For geomembrane installation, maintain edge welding lap width of 80-100mm. Ensure joint areas are free from dirt, moisture, and dust contamination. Align geomembrane edges before welding to maintain consistent width and eliminate creasing. Refer to detailed geomembrane construction specifications for comprehensive installation procedures.
