Product Introduction
The screw conveyor is available in two configurations: horizontal and vertical screw conveyors, designed for transporting powder, granular, and small lump materials including cement, coal powder, grain, fertilizer, ash, slag, and sand. This equipment is not suitable for materials that are prone to deterioration, sticky, or large lumpy substances.
Screw conveyors are widely utilized across multiple industries including building materials, chemical, electric power, coal, metallurgy, and grain processing. They are designed for horizontal and slight inclination arrangements with maximum inclination angles not exceeding 20°. Operating environment temperatures typically range from -20°C to 50°C, while material temperatures should remain below 200°C. Maximum vertical lifting height is limited to 8 meters.
Compared with other conveying equipment types, screw conveyors offer significant advantages including simple structure, compact cross-sectional dimensions, excellent sealing performance, capability for intermediate multi-point loading and discharging, safe and convenient operation, and cost-effective manufacturing.

Structural Principle
Screw conveyors typically consist of three main components: conveyor body, inlet/outlet system, and driving mechanism. The body structure includes first section, middle section, and tail section configurations.
- The first section incorporates thrust bearings to manage axial forces
- Middle and tail sections feature support bearings for spiral shaft stability
- Tail section includes radial bearings with axial movement capability to compensate for spiral shaft length variations and accommodate temperature changes
- Spiral shafts connect via flange-type couplings to enhance interchangeability and simplify maintenance
- Available in both double shaftless and single shaftless configurations to meet diverse operational requirements
