Product Overview
Heat Systems screw conveyors are simple, robust and flexible, often employed to adjust the temperature of solid materials prior to storage or further processing. The unit is essentially a screw conveyor with heat transfer capability, providing both material movement and temperature adjustment in one device.
Unlike conventional systems that rely solely on external jackets with limited material contact due to voidage and movement, our screw conveyors utilize the screw itself to supply or withdraw heat. This design penetrates deep into solids that are often poor conductors (such as spent carbon), resulting in a more compact footprint and reduced costs.
A liquid heat transfer medium ensures stable and precise control of final product temperature (using cooling water, thermal oil, glycol, etc.). Custom screw conveyor designs are available to suit your individual requirements.
