Product Introduction
The double-shaft screw conveyor is equipped with solid screws in a U-shaped groove, featuring one left-handed and one right-handed screw. When operating, the two screws rotate through a pair of gears at the shaft extension position. The rotation of the spiral body moves material axially to achieve efficient conveying.
Working Principle
Material flows in from the feed port. When the rotating shaft rotates, the material receives normal thrust from the helical blade. The radial component of this thrust and the friction force of the blade on the material may drive rotation around the axis, but due to material gravity and trough friction, the material doesn't rotate with the helical blade. Instead, it moves axially along the trough under the axial component of the blade's normal thrust.
