Product Description

Product Introduction

The Low Temperature Percutaneous Plasma Electrode For Nucleus Pulposus Ablation And Puncture Surgery is designed for minimally invasive spine procedures requiring precise disc decompression and controlled tissue ablation. This electrode is specially developed for percutaneous puncture techniques used in lumbar and cervical disc herniation treatment. It enables accurate nucleus pulposus removal while minimizing damage to surrounding neural structures.

Using advanced low temperature plasma technology, the electrode creates a focused plasma field at the tip, allowing targeted vaporization and shrinkage of nucleus pulposus tissue. The controlled ablation reduces intradiscal pressure in real time and relieves nerve root compression. The percutaneous design supports smooth insertion and precise positioning during minimally invasive puncture surgery.

This percutaneous plasma electrode is widely used in disc decompression procedures, providing stable performance, reduced surgical trauma, and faster patient recovery.

Characteristics

  • Percutaneous puncture surgical design
  • Low temperature plasma ablation
  • Precise nucleus pulposus removal
  • Minimally invasive operation
  • Stable plasma energy output
  • Reduced thermal injury risk
  • Smooth insertion and positioning

Technology

The electrode adopts low temperature plasma ablation technology. A high-frequency electric field ionizes conductive medium to generate plasma energy. The plasma breaks molecular bonds in soft tissue, allowing controlled tissue dissolution at relatively low temperature.

This technology enables safe nucleus pulposus shrinkage while preserving surrounding annulus fibrosus and neural structures. It also improves surgical precision during minimally invasive puncture procedures.

Working Principle

After percutaneous puncture access is established, the electrode is inserted into the intervertebral disc. Plasma energy is generated at the working tip, causing molecular dissociation of nucleus pulposus tissue.

The ablated tissue is vaporized and shrinks, leading to reduced disc volume. As intradiscal pressure decreases, compression on nerve roots and surrounding tissues is relieved. The procedure achieves decompression with minimal bleeding and limited thermal spread.
