Product Overview
Copper conductor XLPE insulated power cable with steel wire armor, designed for medium voltage applications up to 3.6/6kV. Features excellent thermal resistance, mechanical strength, and reliable electrical insulation properties.
Applications
Ideal for power transmission and distribution systems in medium to high-voltage networks. Suitable for underground installations, industrial plants, commercial buildings, renewable energy projects (solar and wind farms), transportation infrastructure, and utility grids. Withstands harsh environments including high temperatures up to 90°C continuous operation, moisture, and chemical exposure.
Cable Construction
- Conductor: Circular compacted stranded Copper or aluminum
- Conductor screen: Extruded semi-conductive compound
- Insulation: XLPE (Cross-Linked Polyethylene)
- Insulation screen: Extruded semi-conductive compound
- Metallic screen: Copper Wire
- Binder tape: Non-hygroscopic material
- Inner covering (bedding): PVC
- Metallic armor: Galvanized steel tape
