►Pay attention to when using valve-regulated batteries
1. Matching charger: Use a dedicated charger and strictly follow the charging voltage and current recommended by the manufacturer. Overcharging can cause gassing, swelling, and even explosion; undercharging can cause sulfidation and reduce capacity.

2. Floating charge voltage control: During long-term floating charge (such as UPS applications), the voltage must be accurate (usually 2.25-2.3V/cell). Too high voltage will accelerate aging, and too low voltage will cause capacity loss.

3. Temperature compensation: The charging voltage needs to be reduced in high temperature environments (the voltage drops by about 3mV/cell for every 1°C increase) to avoid thermal runaway.

4. Temperature environment: The optimal operating temperature is 20-25°C. When it is higher than 30°C, the life span is shortened by about 50% for every 10°C increase; the capacity drops significantly when it is lower than 0°C.
