• IMX179 is a 1/3.2-inch high-performance CMOS image sensor launched by Sony, designed for smartphones, tablets and portable smart devices. The IMX179 sensor module uses advanced back-illuminated (BSI) technology to significantly improve the photosensitivity in low-light environments, while supporting high dynamic range (HDR) shooting to meet users' needs for high-definition image quality and smooth images.

8MP Micro USB Camera Module

• IMX179 is an 8MP high-resolution FF/AF mini camera module based on the 1/3.2-inch advanced Sony IMX179 CMOS sensor, with very high and stable image quality. The USB connection port in the camera module supports USB 2.0 high-speed data transmission and OTG protocol (UVC). The 8MP USB camera has a dedicated high-performance image signal processor chip that performs all automatic functions (automatic white balance, automatic exposure control), as well as a complete image signal processing pipeline, providing first-class image and video YUY2 and MJPEG compression camera module.
