Product Overview
The EDJ series is a complete set of fire pump units, typically forming an automatic fire water supply system. This system comprises the following core components:
- Main pump: driven by an efficient electric motor
- Standby pump: equipped with diesel engine drive
- Pipeline pressure compensating pump: used to maintain the pressure of the pipeline network
- control system
Two controller configuration schemes are provided:
- A. Standalone controller
- Flexible installation
- Easy to maintain
- B. Integrated controller
- Installed on skid-mounted equipment
- Small space occupation
Normal operating state
- The pressure of the pipeline network is maintained between P1 (low pressure) and P2 (high pressure)
- The pressure maintenance pump automatically starts and stops according to pressure changes
Pressure drop treatment
- When the pressure drops to P1, the pressure maintenance pump automatically starts
- After the pressure rises back to P2, the pressure maintenance pump automatically stops
High-flow demand response
- When the pressure further decreases to P3 (the lowest pressure):
- a) Automatic start of electric pump
- b) The pressure rebounds to Pw (water supply pressure)
- c) Meet the demand for fire-fighting water
Response to power failure
- In the event of a main power supply interruption or electric pump malfunction:
- a) The pressure continues to decrease until reaching P4 (ultimate pressure)
- b) Automatic start of diesel pump
- c) The pressure rebounds to Pw
- d) Restoration of fire water supply
