Thermoplastic is a homogeneous dry mixture of resin, pigment, glass beads, and filler. When heated to 200°C, the mixture becomes liquid and is applied either by spray or extrusion on the road surface at 90-120 mils thickness. The material cures through heat release, returning to solid form. Application requires temperatures above 50°F with no moisture for 24 hours.
