Plate and Frame Sludge Dewatering Press Overview
Cost-effective belt press dewatering system designed for municipal and small-scale projects. This equipment efficiently processes sludge through gravity and pressure dewatering stages, featuring durable filter belts with excellent water permeability for continuous operation.
Working Process
The system consists of belt concentrator and dewaterer components. After flocculant addition in the sludge mixer, sludge undergoes gravity dewatering where free water drains through filter belt gaps. The wedge precompression section gradually levels and slightly squeezes the sludge before it enters the S-shape multi-roll squeezing section. Here, sludge is repeatedly squeezed between upper and lower filter cloths by rolls of varying diameters, with shearing action facilitating further dewatering to form cake. Final cake removal is achieved via scraper mechanism.
