SM75 Multipurpose drill rig
Overview:
SM75 is a multi-purpose hydraulic-driven geotechnical drill rig. Built on a track chassis, it offers functions of Rotary and Percussion / RC drilling choices, suitable for ground engineering, geotechnical drilling, geothermal development, mineral exploration, etc.
The specially designed rotary drill mast is compact and foldable/ telescopic. The SPT percussion drill mast is mounted side-by-side and can be positioned sliding.
The high-performance heavy tracks are remote controlled for walk, as well as for lifting and lowering. The rig is easy for moving and positioning, highly maneuverable.
Main features:
- Equipped with hydraulic rotary top drive, it is capable for core drill or soil drill, single pipe drill or wireline drill as needed.
- By up-to-date technology, the rig is capable for automated Standard Penetration Test (SPT), with a sampling depth of up to 50 meters and an SPT layer depth of more than 20 meters. The hammering frequency can reach 50 times/m, and the automatic counter makes instant test recording.
- Telescopic mast system is capable for drill rods of 1.5-3 meters long.
- The crawler chassis can be remotely controlled for walking, lifting and levelling, with high maneuverability. The rig can move freely by itself on the drill site with multiple tools loaded on it.
- The soil sampling system can maintain the original state of the soil sample while performing SPT and gravity survey tests.
