ASTM E165 NDT Cracked Aluminum Test Blocks
These cracked aluminum test blocks are designed for comparing sensitivity of different penetrants or evaluating new versus used penetrant materials. Manufactured from 2024 aluminum alloy, each block measures 3" x 2" x 3/8" thick and features a 1/8" wide groove that separates the two sides for side-by-side penetrant comparison.
Certifications & Standards
Complies with ASME Boiler Pressure Code Section V & III, MIL-I-23135-C, and ASTM E165 standards. Available with Material Certification Form verifying compliance with ASME Boiler Vessel Code 1992 Edition requirements.
