The instrument consists of two main components: the UV365 or UV420 probe and the reading unit. These components connect via cable using plug and socket connectors for flexible measurement positioning.
- Press the "power" button to activate the instrument
- Select the appropriate probe type by pressing "UV365" or "UV420" button (do not press both simultaneously)
- Choose the measurement range using ×1, ×10, ×100, or ×1000 buttons
- Connect the probe to the reading unit socket
- Remove the probe cover and position the photosurface at the measurement location
- Read the displayed value and multiply by the range factor to obtain irradiance (μW/cm²)
- Use "hold" button to freeze readings (press after selecting range)
Store the instrument in a clean environment at 0-40°C temperature and <85% humidity to prevent damage. Includes one-year warranty covering repairs or replacements for issues not caused by improper use or maintenance.
