BioPower-v organic Foliarseaweed fertilizer is a liquid natural fermented seaweed extract mixed with potassium and phosphor for stimulating vegetative growth. Fermented seaweed extract contains natural plant hormones, protein amino acids, alginic acid, mannitol, betaine, arachidonic acid, carbohydrates, which can be easily absorbed by plants and bioactive substances that stimulate plant growth.
Composition: Fermented Seaweed extract 300g/L, P2O5≥12%, K2O≥16%, Mo≥0.26%
Agronomical action: Promote cell division and chlorophyll synthesis, enhancing photosynthesis; Improve the development of roots, enhance the ability of roots to absorb nutrients and water in soil; Boost natural defense against pathogenic diseases; Reduce stress symptoms, promote balanced growth of plants.
Target Crops:
BioPower-v organic Foliarseaweed fertilizeris widely used in tea, potato, fruits, vegetables, melons, cotton, bean, tobacco, grain crops, flower, lawn and Chinese medical plants etc.
Mode of application: Foliar application.
- Solanaceae: apply after transplanting up to flowering, dilute1200times (every 2 weeks).
- Cucurbitaceous: apply from 3-4 leaves up to flowering, dilute1200-2000times (every 8-10 days).
- Lettuce, spinach, and celery: apply from 3-4 leaves onwards, dilute1000times (every 8-10 days).
- Strawberry: apply from green buttons up to fructification, dilute1000-1200times.
- Potato, onion, artichoke: dilute800-1000times.
- Beet: Concentration: dilute 600-800 times (every 2-3 weeks)
- Citrus & fruit trees: apply at beginning of sprouting, just before fruit setting and during fruit growth. Dilute 800-1200times. The rate of application: 680ml/ha.
- Rice, wheat: dilute800-1000times (every 2 weeks).
- Olive: Apply at beginning of sprouting and during flowering, dilute600-800times.
- Vineyard: apply from extended leaves to fruit setting, dilute1200times (3-4 applications)
What is the real organic Seaweed fertilizer?
Production methods of seaweed fertilizers: Usually they can be divided into
- Chemical hydrolysis method (i.e., potassium hydroxide hydrolysis),
- Physical extraction method (i.e., high-pressure and cold process),
- Biological fermentation method (i.e., enzyme degradation method) etc.
Extraction method has great influence on active materials and nutrition constituents of products.
- Presently, major companies in the worldis using chemical hydrolysis to produce seaweed fertilizers, the biggest disadvantage of chemical method is: the strong alkali and high temperature will destroy activity of endogemous materials and nutrients.
- Physical extraction method is crushing seaweed cell wall by using high pressure and subcooling process; it is better than chemical extraction.But there are few companies mastering physical extraction technology at present, such as kelpak of South Africa.
- The principle of biological fermentation method is using various kinds of enzymes produced by microorganisms in the metabolic process which uses seaweeds as nutrients. It degrades macromolecule materials constituting seaweeds into micromolecule and water-soluble materials. Without strong alkali and high temperature of chemical method or high pressure and low temperature of physical method, it maximizes the retention of bioactivators and nutrient substances in seaweeds.
