High Penetration Open Hole Casing Shoe NW Tungsten Carbide TC Casing Shoe Bit
Casing Shoes are diamond tools used to avoid material to collapse into the hole. Normally casing shoers are screwed on casing rods, used in mining or geotechnical and geothermal applications.
Casing shoe is used on the leading edge of a casing tube string to advance it through the overburden layer and into the bedrock by means of rotational drilling. Depending on the range of application, the cutting media on the core bit may take the form of synthetic diamond, tungsten-carbide particles or tungsten-carbide elements.
Casing shoes for drilling have cutting segments on the front and exterior, while the interior is smooth. The inner diameter of the casing shoe is sufficiently large to permit free passage of drill bits and core barrels in corresponding sizes.
