Due to its unique design and build,it is rugged,virustatic,washable and can be disinfected with any hospital-approved disinfectant, it is an ideal input terminal used in industrial or medical environments.
Compared to its ancestor SKB-86-TP,it has the following enhancements:
-Better tactile feel on keys
-Easier to be cleaned or disinfected as the keys are made shorter(low profile) and their side-walls are made more sloping.
